Freud do make some great router bits, and if you do any kind of template routing, this is the bit to have. Because of its length, it is best used in a router table, and in this mode you will be able to flush trim smoothly and accurately. The carbide cutting edges produce a very smooth, clean finish that rarely requires sanding to finish. A good flush trim bit is essential in a woodworkers shop, and this is the one I use and will continue to use.
And still doesn't need sharpening. I have used this bit a lot and it is still sharp and doesn't seem like it will ever die. Fabulous. 5 Stars.
